Why Choose the FitHAUS High School Strong Program?

At FitHAUS, we know there is an art and science to programming and that using intentional set and rep schemes with structured progression over time delivers measurable results. The FitHAUS High School Strong program is designed to increase strength, power, speed, and work capacity of High School athletes. All experience levels are welcome and our knowledgeable coaches will tailor workouts to accommodate all abilities, experience levels, restrictions, etc.

Go into the Fall Sports season stronger, faster and more conditioned than ever! You’ll be amazed at what a summer of consistent work looks like after three months! 

  • STRENGTH:  Athletes will be performing and perfecting the deadlift, bench press, overhead presses (various types), front squat, back squat, as well as olympic lifts such as the power clean and snatch. The programming is designed to not only increase absolute strength (i.e. how much can you lift), but to also increase power (i.e. how quickly you can apply force).  Each strength portion will also include accessory muscle and core work.  

  • CONDITIONING / CAPACITY WORK: Athletes will perform a variety of movements at different intensities which includes training for explosiveness, speed, agility, stamina and endurance. (E.g. sled pushes, interval sprints using the bike, rower and running, dumbbell work, box jumps, pull-ups, push-ups, kettlebell work).

These two components, along with agility drills and mobility work, will be combined in various ways to maximize improvements in speed, power, strength, and work capacity.

We know that building a solid base of fitness helps prevent injuries and translates to improvements in specific sports skills. We’ve seen many of our FitHAUS athletes excel in a variety of sports and have measurable increases in strength using the constantly varied movement training methodology.

Our Winter High School Strong program is currently capped at 12 athletes/class to ensure our coaches are able to actively coach each individual athlete.
