Dean Buckner
Coach
Dean was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and has lived in many places all over Canada and the United States. He grew up playing hockey, baseball, tennis, and has a love of the outdoors. He moved to MN in 2015 with his two daughters. Living in Cincinnati, OH, in 2014 he joined a local CrossFit gym and has been active in the CrossFit community ever since.
Dean obtained his CF Level 1 in 2022 and also coaches/volunteers with the Fully Vested Recovery Movement (www.fullyvestedrecoverymovement.org/) which supports a sober active lifestyle. Dean has been sober since 2021. Dean owns his own consulting business called CONNECTOUR (www.connectour.org). FitHAUS partnered with Dean to help outfit a gym in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe!
