CrossFit Foundations

New to CrossFit? Start with our Foundations Class! The Foundations class is a 3 session class that will prepare you to move safely and functionally in any class at FitHAUS. This class is mandatory if you are new to CrossFit.

Strength & Conditioning

Our Strength & Conditioning classes are great for anyone looking to use functional movements to get fit and move well! It is a 60 minute class to give you a great, well rounded workout that increases strength while improving cardiovascular fitness.  You will use dumbbells, kettlebells, and barbells in this class, but you’ll see less olympic lifting and high level gymnastic skills in this class than our CrossFit classes.  Our Foundations program is not required for our Strength & Conditioning classes, but definitely encouraged!

Functional Range Conditioning

Functional Range Conditioning (FRC or Kinstretch) is an active strength and mobility training class. The movements in this class promote joint health and longevity, connective tissue development and help with injury prevention.

FRC training is meant to supplement and enhance your current training program. With joint injuries (both acute and chronic) being the main longevity issue for long term athletes, FRC is the perfect combo. The primary goal of the movements in this class is to get each joint working optimally through its full range of motion

You'll be using bodyweight, bands, lacrosse balls, and blocks. This class is appropriate for all ages scalable to any fitness level.

You can learn more about this method of training HERE

Going through the FRC classes and movements has been a great way for me to warm up before works outs and also is a great way to take an active rest day. It targets supporting muscles that I don’t use on a regular basis. It also helps me build joint stability and flexibility at the same time by working on strengthening smaller support muscles around the main group of muscles I use everyday! FRC will make you sore in a good way and I would highly recommend anyone check it out!

FitHAUS Yoga and Barre

All Levels Yoga (60 minute class) or Express (45 minutes class) –  A blend of our beginner yoga series and intermediate classes.  Suitable for a beginner who has a consistent practice and for the seasoned practitioner.  This class builds upon foundation knowledge and integrates a variety of posture options for all levels.

  • All Levels Vinyasa - This is a combination of Power (longer holds) with Vinyasa (flowing, continuous movement). This class will offer smooth transitions out of postures, focus on breath, and include a complete stretching sequence.

  • Yin Yoga - This class is typically offered as a Monthly “Full Moon Yin” Class throughout the winter months. Yin targets your deep connective tissues, like your fascia, ligaments, and joints. It's slower and more meditative practice, giving you space to turn inward and tune into both your mind and the physical body.

Barre (60 minute class) or Express (45 minutes class) -  A strengthening class that focuses on small, controlled movements, isometric holds and high repetition to target both large muscles and small supportive muscles.  We’ll use light weights, resistance bands, pilates balls, and yoga blocks.

Barre Fusion (60 minute class) - This class focuses on the same strengthening techniques of our traditional barre class - think small, controlled, and isometric work - plus + strength training (burpees, pushups, kettle bell swings, dumbbell work, wall balls etc). You'll target both the small, stabilizing accessory muscles as well as your large muscle groups!
