Lifelong Fitness Enthusiast. I'm a former gymnast who has done just about every type of workout and exercise class under the sun. Yoga, yoga sculpt, step classes, Lagree, Solid Core, pilates, running, biking, aerobics, CrossFit, 1/2 marathons, triathlons and duathlons. After Rotator Cuff surgery, I could no longer do CrossFit. While rehabbing, which was literally speed walking for 6 months, I read a lot about HIIT and realized I needed to change the way I worked out. Once I got the green light from my surgeon, I gave it a try and fell in love. HIIT has completely transformed my body and my mind. It seems less effortless than my previous ways of working out and the benefits extend into the rest of the day. Muscle continues to build and calories continue to burn. My daytime job as a Neuro-Oncology Nurse motivates me to embrace and cherish my ability to move my body. I hope to inspire and motivate others in our community to do the same. Teaching at FitHAUS has been a blast and the community has been very welcoming.
