FitHAUS Fall 28 Day Challenge

Need some motivation to NOT eat your kiddo's Halloween Candy??  Sign up for the FitHAUS 28 Day No Sugar, No Alcohol Challenge and go into the Holiday season feeling (and looking!) on top of your game!!

Here's the rules:

  • $15 to enter which is added to the 'pot'
  • 1 point per day if you have NO added sugar and NO alcohol that day
  • Added Sugar = anything with sugar that is not naturally occurring.  Read labels and see below what to look for.  
  • Natural Sweeteners are allowed (Honey, Maple Syrup, Agave, Stevia, etc ... but try not to go crazy with these either)!
  • Winner (most points) takes entire pot!  (If multiple winners, the pot is split evenly). So ... even if everyone makes it all 28 days (=28 points), you at least get your money back.
  • Day 28 is Thanksgiving and is a free day!  Everyone gets a point for that day (so ... if you've picked up on this ... it's really a 27 day challenge).

If any of these are on the label, it's NOT allowed:

  • Anything containing ‘sugar’ (cane sugar, coconut sugar, castor sugar, date sugar, beet sugar, fructose, etc)
  • Any word containing -ose at the end (Sucrose, Dextrose, Fructose, Galactose, Lactose, Maltose)    
  • Anything with ‘syrup’ in the name (besides maple syrup)
  • Caramel
  • Evaporated cane juice

What is 'allowed':

  • Maple Syrup
  • Honey
  • Agave Nectar
  • Blackstrap Molasses
